GMDSS simulation

Pharos can be configured for GMDSS/GOC (General Operators Certificate) and GMDSS/ROC (Restricted Operators Certificate). Pharos can also accommodate training for SRC and LRC certificates where that is applicable according to STCW-F. 

The simulator is especially applicable to SAR training, as the instructor can act as an RCC in a dedicated panel.

RESCUE COORDINATION CENTRE (RCC)

COAST RADIO STATION (CRS)

The instructor(s) can operate as any Coast Radio Station (CRS) around the world. Available equipment at the CRS is according to List of Coast Stations. The instructor can easily switch between to the CRS that receives incoming messages/calls and act accordingly.

SEARCH AND RESCUE (SAR)

The Pharos GMDSS simulator has the capability to perform advanced SAR training. This as the simulator stations can be individually configured and be allocated several different functions including the RCC (Rescue Co-ordination Centre).
